Giorno Nove

On my ninth day in The Eternal City we went to the Vatican Museums.Unfortunately most of the beautiful and historic statues are very immodest so there aren't many pictures of them. Also, none of the galleries are too excited about us taking pictures so there aren't many photos. Michaelangelo's Sistine Chapel is in the Vatican and it was breathtaking. It really wasn't as huge as I suspected; although, the detail is so intricate I can see why it took him four years to complete. I am getting quite good at recognizing Roman and Greek gods and their iconography after seeing galleries upon galleries of statues upon statues of different gods.

Piggy yikes you Kelsey ;)
